I started this as a fill to the prompt "19th Wedding Anniversary - A/P" on sweetjamielee's The Good Wife Summer Ficathon. Unfortunately, it has become so much larger in my head than I initially expected, that there is no way it will be finished for the end of the ficathon on July 30th. Oh, nice beginning! I particularly like the snuggling scene with Grace, it warms my little shipper heart to know that someone does bring Alicia some comfort :-) Domestic Mum Alicia is always touching, and you captured quite well how she’s afraid she might not be good enough as a mother, how she tries to be as honest as possible with her kids, and the differences in maturity between Zach and Grace. Nice and accurate family picture!

Now I’m curious to know where this is going!

What I like about this is that it addresses a question that I'm really wanting Alicia to ask herself in canon, which is: How is all her back-and-forth stuff with Peter affecting her children and teaching them about marriage? It's really interesting to see her introspect about it in the fic, and I always love to see some Florrick family bonding! Hope you get the yen to continue. :)
