 I wasn't going to go to the funeral. I made my peace. We said goodbye. Then I realized I was still upset about not going. So, I am going to ask for two more days off work. It is a really good thing that my manager really likes me. I will be tired as heck after this trip, but it will be worth it. Shortest trip to Toronto ever.

oh hai jet lag, why don't you stay a while. your poor body isn't going to know whether its coming or going. i didn't think a 3 hour time difference was all that much, until we went to california. i kept waking up at 4 while we were there, and then when we got back, i had trouble getting up by 8.

your grandfather was a remarkable man.
