Today was the last day of camp. I'm pretty content with how the day went, but I'm still going to miss it.
Right when I was about to leave, it started raining and I had to walk. That was kind of fun though.
So I got there, and Ryan was wearing a gross hat and crocs. And I just wondered what happened to the totally awesome Ryan I knew and loved?? Since it was a crappy day, we stayed inside for the whole morning. Eventually, the kids played with Polymer clay. Ryan made a unicorn/snake/millipede and Nate spent the whole morning making a ram.
There was this one councilor who really disliked Ryan since the beginning of camp. He's really stubborn and he doesn't like when there are a lot of water bottles on the table. He also brought in a small snow cone machine. So he made a snow cone, then he used the lemonade in my water bottle as flavoring and threw out my water bottle. So I was just like "what? that was my water." And he was like "oh shit, sorry." Then he reached into the garbage and asked if I wanted him to fill it up. So in the end, my least favorite councilor made me lemonade. That was swell.
For lunch, we got Aja Noodle. It was super delicious.
After lunch, we made the kids Ice cream sundaes. Ryan was about to punch this 13-year-old in the face because he's always giving Ryan a really hard time.
But then it was nice out, so everyone went outside. Everyone was playing on the last day of camp, even though everything was wet.
Then two volunteers came out with huge water guns and started to spray all the kids. The kids got so wet, but they were having a lot of fun.
When it started to rain, everyone just stayed outside and played. It stopped after about 4 minutes anyways.
So then I went to the swings, where my new fav. camper and Ryan were swinging. Ryan's swing was over a huge puddle, so I sat down next to him. Under the water were woodchips. We decided to have a bit of a splashing fight. And by a bit, I mean we were completely drenched and disgusting by the time it was over. My fav. camper came over and tried to splash us, so Ryan and I carried him and then swung him into the gross puddle. It was wonderful.
When it was time to go in, I gave Ryan one last splash and then he was just like "Sarah, I love you" and gave me a hug. That's basically our friendship. <33 So we were about to go inside, and the councilors were like "No. You're gross." So we had to try to dry off a bit outside. When we went back in, my fav. camper came and gave me a hug before he left. I told him to come back next year, and he said he'd think about it.
Then everyone went home.
End to a wonderful day at camp.
Everything ended perfectly, but I miss everyone already (okay, maybe just Ryan =P)
