I think I am a convert to Body For Life.
Went to the mall last night for some Baja Fresh and air-conditioned comfort with Derek and Meggan. After some yummy Mexican food, and a bite of derek’s cinnabon, we were off to explore the mall. Went to the pet store and gushed over all the puppies and kitties - so adorable!
Then went to Barnes and Noble, where we perused the magazines for a while, including a very sexy Lindsay Lohan Interview cover. The headline “ Why is America falling in love with Lindsay Lohan?”. Hmmmm could it be her amble bosom spilling out on your magazine cover? It is hard to make men feel bad for lusting after these underage girls (she is almost 18), when they advertise them as sex kittens. Honestly, Lindsay Lohan could be the next Ann Margaret.
In fact, instead of following Hillary Duff into making some watered down rock & roll record (as I heard she is doing on Extra/Entertainment Tonight), she should record an album of drunken irish tunes with Shane McGowan, or maybe she should front the Pogues. Regardless, my idea is GENIUS!!
Ok ok, back to my conversion. Meggan has been telling me about Body For Life, and I trust her because she studied to be a personal training, she just never got around to taking the certification test (and she is super smart, so she would not have failed the test). She believes in the book so much, that last night she bought it for me while we were at the bookstore - now that is passion!!! So last night I went home and read the entire book, and it made sense! I have tried reading all those diet books, and body for life and the zone are the only ones that seem plausible. Actually this is kind of similar to the zone, except it allows you more flexibility and a free day.
I urge people to go to
www.bodyforlife.com and check it out. Its only 84 days, and the people who do it look incredible. It is really an amazing transformation these people achieve with the program. Its seems simple too.
