It is a great month for Britpop/Indie in Hartford:

Friday, October 7th - Blocktoberfest at Vaughan's Public House. Shag Frenzy will be spinning between bands starting artound 7pm. Admission is a $5 donation to the Hartford Arts Council. I can't do Friday since it's before the party. Can't do shag frenzy this time since it's on the 15th and Dan has improv show at UCONN. Can possibly do the whole Wadsworth thing, since I have never been. That might be neato.

Collage is a really cool night. Tickets are $15 in advance/$20 at the door, but it includes alcohol. They had over 1,000 people last time - it rocked!!!

im going to try to go to the blockparty on Friday nite & shag frenzy. i'll be at a wedding all day saturday, so we'll see how i feel. if im up to it, i'll def. hit up shag frenzy.
