Time for some Lilies!!

This is an assortment of different kind of lilies. I tried to look up and see if I could match the type of lily picture I had, to the various categories they are divided into, but I was not so successful. So I present to you, the lilies as per their colours.

fabulous collection of lilies. I love their proud presence, their grace, the detail on their petals and innards. I love their fragrance, but alas, I am super allergic to them.
But I still maintain a patch of pinkish white lilies, like the one in your third pic.

You should seriously consider your own floral encylopedia :-)

They look very graceful - very ladylike. These happen to be my favorite flowers. The bulbs i planted at home, have sprouted into a plant but no blooms as yet. I am not sure if i will get any this year. Was so looking forward to it actually.

Oh dear! Allergy towards some of your favorite things can be heart-breaking. Does it not affect you, if you still have a patch of them in your garden - pollen etc?

Floral encylopedia sounds like a wonderful thought. I am sure it will be a lot of painstaking work, which i feel am not fully equipped to handle at this point of time. Maybe sometime in the future when i feel i have a really good collection of flowers, i might jump into making my own encyclopedia. I am sure it will be fun.
