It is heart-breaking to see and hear of so much of blood shed everywhere. As I child I saw and heard more of small time (read local) assailants - Naxalites, Political goons… Slowly I started to get more familiar with things that were on a larger scale - LTTE, Maoists, Wars to rip apart individual states from India and things on these lines. The scariest part is, for locals (I was reading about Mogadishu), violence has become a way of life. Now they are comfortably numb to its constant presence.

Yeah enough of war, blasts and natural disasters. :-(

That is a scary situation to be in - comfortable with the war situation. But i guess we humans adapt ourselves to such things and after a while all seems normal and life goes on. It is a sad thought.

With Newspaper you have other articles to read too and they are not as repetitive as the TV news - the same thing goes on the whole day.
