Red Winged Black Bird

The route Elsa and I take for walks, takes us around a dry lakebed, which is growing all kinds of grass, weeds and lots of bulrush all over. For the past couple of days, I have been seeing a pitch-black bird with bright red spots on its wings. Very beautiful to look at when in flight and has a unique call.

Yeah... i love the vibrant red that it has on its wings. It looks lovely when it is in flight.

they're very common in this area and i've even snapped some shots of them before. not anything good though :)

Apparently, they are very common here too. Just that i had not seen one before.
I am doing fabulous now. It just seems to be getting better with every passing day ;)
