So I was walking to class just a bit ago and I saw in the grass across from their pond, 3 adult ducks and like 7 little babies. They were sooo cute, they were running around the grass making baby cheaping sounds. Sooo cute. there was a lady feeding them and from far away I was like aww that's cute (that's before I saw they had the babies with

It really is the small things that make life enjoyable, little happenings that remind you that there is still beauty in the world. :D

AWWW!! I love ducks and especially little ducklings! Well, you already know that. *g* It's not good to pick them up, no, because the mother duck will try to kill you, LOL! (And the ducklings can get hurt, of course.) However, the bird geek in me would like to point out that contrary to popular belief, a mother duck wil NOT abandon her babies if a human touches them. I don't think any mother birds do that, because birds don't have a great sense of smell anyway. So if you ever see a baby chicky that needs help or has fallen from its nest, it is okay to pick them up gently and put them back where they belong. Just wanted you to know that in case if you ever do run into such a situation. :)

One of these days I am going to make a duck pond on my property! When I do I'll get some ducklings to start with, and we can pick those up and give them some cuddles, eee!

Oh my goodness you sooo need to make a duck pond. but I think this is yet another one of those things that goes on your to do list but never get done. :( (i.e. your art room, your medievel room, the fairy you were supposed to draw me, etc. ) I love you but i have to learn not to get too pumped up when you mention stuff cause you sort of just mention it in passing. I don't mean anythig bad by this post cause I do it too like when you say OMG I should totally.... or I so need to buy.... WOW we really have to go to....

and you know if you never bring it up again by next year I'll forget you ever mentioned the duck pond at all. haha you know me. :D but baby duckies would be sooo cute. :D

hey it's totally ok if you sound defensive. I sounded all bitchy/naggy "you never do this and you never do that... blah blah blah" haha I totally didn't mean it that way either I was just bustin your chops. hmmm "busting your chops" where does that phrase come from??

I'd love to help with your yardsale providing I can get the time off in november I'm pretty busy but... I will definitely come to your house the night before or maybe help get stuff ready a couple nights before if you need me.

Lyndon should so help you with stuff, that's just not cool. and that's sad about your artistic juices not flowing quick girl go get your creative mojo back!!
