I celebrated my first Thanksgiving away from home this year. I spent all day cooking with Aaron. I made mini-pies with a gruyere cheese crust and spiced apple filling. After reviewing my bills this month, I've decided to put myself on a financial diet once more. I've only been swimming twice this week (and going to go after work today and possibly tomorrow morning). My first swim was lame because I got a terrible cramp that I couldnt' swim through. Last night I had happy hour sushi with Amanda. Then we went to the Rusty Nail to hear Angie and some others sing opera for Opera on Tap, while enjoying a nice glass of pinot noir.

I had a really good swim this morning, spent a good chunk of the morning shopping with Curtis for the clients and Christmas decorations for work, which was really fun.

I try to keep an open mind about people who are extremely conservative. I may not understand their beliefs entirely, but I can respect them. But it seems to me, they lack respect for the other side. I swam last night. I got up early in the chilly morning and bundled up to go swimming again. Stepped on the scale. Shazzam, lost another 4 lbs! So I guess It's working.
