Of course: camping with Dad. Hiking with Dad. Canoeing with Dad. Lots of stuff with my dad. I loved it, and miss it now.

shot in the dark: you were a daddy's girl!

as for me, i'm pretty sure they involve my brother and my neighbor going on daily excursions all through the rivervalley surrounding our property.

My friend had a giant backyard with an orchard and a pine copse in it -- Once I climbed up the tallest pine and timed a stone dropping to calculate its height, and checked my work by comparing the ratio of the triangles of my height to the lenghth of my shadow and it's supposed height to the length of its shadow. Of course, that's a singularity -- most of the time we'd sit around campfires and play full-contact tackle tag.

Ah, when we were young.

full-contact tackle tag sounds amazing. there was much of that on my street as well.
list!

- street hockey
- hide-seek-in-dark
- guns
- football

i think i climbed a tall pine tree, but only to yell as loud as i could. and then to look as for along the horizon as my eyes could go. so, i think you have me beat.
