I love my roommate but I feel like she resents me for living there. I feel like I live in HER house even though we moved into it at the same time and split the rent equally. She doesn't seem to like Evan being around, but I don't like HER boyfriend being around and HE broke into our old apartment, so... I feel like I walk on eggshells constantly

Maybe you need to have a conversation with her about how you feel. I'm not saying this is easy, but let her know that you are trying your best to be as quiet as possible, but you don't feel it's good enough for her, and what else can you do? I think some compromise on her part would be good--like wearing earplugs. If she is that sensitive to noise (creaking floors?!), and she wants her door open, then she needs to be flexible. Good luck with this.

I second the above suggestion. Ask her about comprimising on maybe how many times a week Evan stays over. I mean, if she says NEVER then yeah, bring up the summer camps and classes, etc, but if you have had a good relationship for awhile as it seems you have she should be able to say it's okay on the weekends but not during the work week, etc. I think that's fair.
