You know, it's interesting what life throws your way. You always dream of something big for yourself, but never really get a firm handle on how to get there. When your dream lands in your lap, and you think you have it all, something doesn't add up.

You were in DC and didn't look me up?

The job market in DC sucks right now for Republicans. You were lucky to find a bottom-rung job in the House. Or maybe not, if it was that bad...hopefully things will stabilize here after the next election, although I know it's not likely unless we keep the White House.

Had I known you wrre there....and that's partially my fault for not being more up to it on here.

Yeh, it wasn;t bad. I just would've never known had I not gone. Maybe things need to be flipped for the GOP so they can get their house in order before having control of anything again for a while.

It's not *that* far. And not too far for a plane ride to Florida to keep warm in those lovely mid-Atlantic winters, hehe.

Life is crazy. I'm excited for you that things seem to have fallen into place. It never ceases to amaze me out we plan and plan and dream and dream and its those times when the unexpected and unplanned occur that we are completely happy and content.
