That sounds great! I haven't seen it promoted yet over here, so I'm not sure when I'll see it, but Johnny in 17th century duds is a definite must see. :D Were you at the Odeon? I remember those seats with great fondness from the Naked Gandalf Day hoot. :))

No, not the Odeon :) The Gallery at Bluewater. Which in my opinion is the greatest cinema I've ever been in :D

Gorb, I definitely want to see this movie. It's not showing here yet. In fact, I've heard nothing about it. From what you say, my guess is it will not be popular with the masses and may have a limited showing.

We don't have theatres here like the one you are talking about (that I know of). I'm trying to picture it. Sounds very cool.

Well Penn, it is a normal cinema... but you can pay a bit extra if you want to and get gallery seats. You watch the same screen as the other people but you get to your seats by going up in an elevator. Once up there you get given complimentary snacks and chocolates and as much tea / coffee as you want. Also you can buy drinks from the bar while you wait for your film.
Then you go in to watch the film, and basically you are sitting in a separate area behind and above the cheapo seats :D and instead of normal seats, you sit in big sofas or luxury chairs. they are fitted with trays so you can take your food and wine in with you :D
Altogether a far more civilized cinema going experience :D

You were uncomfortable? Rather surprised. Perhaps the company you were in? Nothing in it surprised me, in fact I think I expected something more shocking. I'm certain the use of certain language would offend most people. And the names of characters in a play were original ( ... )

Yes... nothing illustrated this more than the very last scene (The epilogue?)

I wasn't uncomfortable due to embarrassment...but because it was hard to watch the Earl's decline and some the ways he treated people.
That's what I meant by uncomfortable viewing.

Bless you. You are a good person and too good for some others. Remember that my friends. You see what may others miss. We often treat people badly because we think badly of ourselves or want what is beyond the stars. Good for you. I for one will enjoy your journal.

Thank you anonymous :)

Oh, and yes... I did notice the different sizes of wine glass at the Gallery... very odd.
