How petty do my old Leigh problems seem in retrospect?

I read through all my old posts a while ago, and I never would have guessed how things would have changed for me these past couple years; How life would get so much more complicated. Dude, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. That sucks so much. It's one of the hardest things in the world to see a parental figure or someone you admire struggling with something that fucking sucks as much as cancer does. If you're interested, there are a couple of cancer support communities on LJ that really helped me through my Dad's cancer in 2007. I found that it helps to be able to talk to people who are going through the same thing. I can link you if you want.
On the relationships front, I'm also sorry. I wish I could do something more than say "I'm sorry," but I can't. If you want to talk, I'm totally prepared to be a listening ear.
Things like this are so hard when you're living through them, but you are absolutely right- they will make you stronger.
