it's my absolute favorite comic also. EIghtball was fanfuckingtastic. I wish Clowes would do something like that again. I havent gotten Pussey yet. I know it was recently re-released. I must own it!
i reread David Boring the other day I had read it when I was about 15 and didn't like it as much. I loved it when I read it last week though! I think it was a little too mature for a 15 year old, heh. Boy, does David love them big asses! I love the different scenery in David Boring and how it plays out like a movie. I also love that you get the impression that the end is near, and his happiness is temporary but real.
I think that Clowes' characters are easy to identify with. They seem like genuine, fucked up people. I definitly feel like I identify with CLay Loudermilk more than any other character. There was a time when I would have said Enid, but that's too easy. There's something about Clay's personality and the situations he finds himself in. That's what made me fall in love with the comic.

Tim Hensley has recently uploaded two Victor Banana videos on Youtube.com, by the band that recorded SPLIT. One of the songs didn't appear on the album. The videos are high quality. I'd recommend grabbing them before he changes his mind again and takes them down.
