I'm not a big soup eater in general but OMG I just made the best soup! I had no idea I was capable. Its an African Peanut soup and looks a bit like this.

I loooove soup and that soup looks fantastic. I love recipes for fantastic looking soup even more. Also, those chocolates are seriously adorable.

So I just got done making your soup! Thank you for the recipe. My favorite part about this soup is that I had all of the ingredients on hand.

So I changed a few things. Vegetable broth, of course, but I didn't have broth, I had bullion. So instead of mixing it with water, I mixed it with 8 oz of milk, so the soup would be creamier.

I also didn't have cilantro. Sad. But I did chop up a bunch of raw peanuts that I had lying around, it give the soup something to chew.

I also added some tumeric and cumin. Soooo good.

I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, cooking is really about improvising with what you have and what you like. Well, I will keep posting recipes/photos of my cooking adventures :)
