...but if she did she'd have had a lot more fun.

So I got into a conversation with sean today about the proper plural for the word 'penis'. I maintained that it is 'penes', the latin-style plural, and he maintained it was 'penises', the english-style plural. Just in case anyone was wondering, as it turns out either one of those is technically acceptable. English is such a fun, garbled mish-mash ( Read more... )

Isn't the English language fun as hell?

I'm glad you enjoyed Seattle!! ^_^ It's a bummer that your tattoo machines weren't so happy with the trip, but you got some new stuffs, which is always fun!

Uh - at least one of us is working out! I'm glad to hear you're workin' hard to keep up with working out :-) Keep up the fantastic work!!

I'm actually interested in the pros and the cons of each system.

Oh, hey. I started running like you do, in "intervals". I was doing just a flat rate speed for running. Now I switched to the walk 2.5 minutes, sprint .5 minutes, repeat.

It is so much harder, but I feel like I get a better workout and my average speed is faster than that flat speed I was running at. I know I'm still at the bare minimum another week at this rate though, I'm not ready to up the ratio.

yeah, I switched things up the other night and just ran straight for a while but it didn't seem to do as much for me. My average speed, I did notice, was less when I just ran straight through. I think I'll just stick with the program, and just kind of go through it slower like I've been. it's going to take me a little while to work up to the next level (week 4, technically, of the program as it is scheduled) because it's in my opinion kind of a big jump in the amount of running.

well... as far as pneumatics ('Neumas' is the brand, there's only one company right now that makes them and it'll probably stay that way, which is fine because I suspect they'll be around a while) versus electrics go... I haven't tried the neumas yet so I'm not sure how they operate but I do know a lot of people who do, so I have a pretty good idea.
