That is wonderful! For some reason I find the phrase "Gene Kelley warned me not to be a damned fool" amazingly funny. I wonder what he would have come up with?

I know! Especially since I'd just finished watching Shall We Dance, in which Fred and Ginger dance on rollerskates in Central Park. When you think about it, rollerskating is a frightening sport, you know? Even though I love it. But seeing that, and then reading about the skateboard--I was mostly regretful that he didn't get to make a skateboard number! If only!
