Summer Movie Screencap Game #3: The Last [#9]
I can't believe it's taken me this long to pull this together.

Man, WHY is The Hurt Locker not playing in town? I ask you. At least we've got Ponyo. Finally watched the trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and was this close to shaking my monitor and screaming whennnnnnnnn when "October 16" popped up. Local cinemas: you're on notice.
Oh, naeelah, all the movie festivals and retrospectives and etc.s you'll have access to. That wave of envy you'll feel periodically will be me, just so you know.
This ended up having two semi-interrelated sub-themes, one intentional, one not. Intentional: since John Hughes died earlier this month, I've included my favorites of his throughout this. Unintentional and a mostly opaque directional cue: one decade ended being a little disproportionately over-represented. I promise I know movies (and good, important ones!) were made before then. It's also not as inclusively international as I'd prefer, but I'll tackle that in the future.
Anyway: lazy Sunday + late game + passing the 150 cap mark (overall, not, erm, here) + end of summer game = deluxe edition.
