Moby Dick, with annotations? Be still, my heart!

FACT: If all preachers had pulpits shaped like the bows of a ship, I'd have enjoyed church way more as a child.

There's a silent film version of Moby Dick where Ahab wins at the end, and goes home to his wife (!) Caught it late one night on TCM, and honestly thought I was hallucinating.

Have you seen the John Huston version?

It *is* a really nice edition, and I don't think they're too expensive on Amazon.

Shouting sailing terms at the parishioners to get them to move was great.

I haven't seen any movie versions at all, but some of the intros cover them, including the happy ending one. Sounds hilariously special.
