In fact, it does. But since my last rehabilitation stint at Arkham, I haven't always been in the habit of carrying lockpicks. They're murder at airports, you know.
[Grimly looks at the cuffs. And stares perhaps a moment too long at Spidey's... wrist.]

Felicia keeps telling me I should get a lockpick kit, but honestly I never need to pick locks except when she's around and then that would just be redundant, you know? -- Oh, hang on! Would a safety pin work?
[He uses his free hand to pull his shirt up enough to get to his utility belt, revealing a strip of bare -- and perfectly toned -- flesh.]

[Eddie blinks. And swallows. And then scowls.]
I suppose I could manage. [Beat.] We really shouldn't discuss Felicia so casually in each other's company -- it's a bit weird, isn't it? Given how -- given what --
[Well he just snatches the pin away. Fingers graze a palm.]
I suppose it's like, well, we've both been intimate with one version of her, correct? And through sharing similar experiences, you and I connect. It's like we know the same secrets.
[He dropped the safety pin. Fumbled it, possibly unintentionally. As Eddie bends down to retrieve it from the floor, he sneaks a glance up Spidey's spandex-covered legs. A very unsubtle peek, given his angle.]
Well, sure, but it's not like we're going to share her secrets ... anyway, your Felicia's younger than mine was when we started dating, and I'm sure there are lots of other differences, so it really doesn't ... matter all that much ...
[He trails off, but not because he notices Eddie's blatant ogling. He's not looking at Eddie's face right now, but another part of his anatomy rather that's showcased to perfection by Eddie's crouching position, and an amazingly well-tailored pair of pants.]
I suppose not. There's merely the connotation we must deal with. And the... Images of our respective selves, together.
Er, with her.
[His fingers accidentally graze up Spidey's calf, past the knee. A momentary glance follows, as he enjoys the heroic curve of muscles along the other man's frame.]

[Spidey trails off, staring at Eddie's hands, so dextrous and strong-looking...]
Um ...
[He gives himself a shake.]
Sorry, what -- oh, Felicia, right. I don't ... see why she'd care?

Well, I wasn't thinking about it until you put that into my head...
[Feeling the touch on his leg, he gasps and looks down. Beneath the mask, his eyes meet Eddie's, then skitter away. He wets his lips.]
Do you -- um -- do you need a hand getting up? Uh, I mean --

[Slight blush.]
But otherwise I'm just -- ah, enjoying the view.

[ He makes a little noise in the back of his throat. ]
