When everyone else was moving underground or registering, Vic was finding secret, subtle ways to infiltrate and subvert the new regime. It wasn't long before he was imprisoned.
He was inside for six years, until an escape attempt that was complicated and didn't seem to end very well. Word has it he died then, but rumors of a faceless spooks mucking things up arise, graffiti'd question marks in public places. The methods are only getting subtler and sneakier, but also more widespread. It would seem almost impossible that a single man could perpetrate them all.
Whether The Question still exists as a man or not is largely unconfirmed, but his status as an urban legend is only growing.
hard to say, because it's a question i've never wanted fully answered, but that makes it hard to play with him in the setting not understanding the answer might be the best option
GWEN'S IS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME AS LAST TIME. Since she's had nasty experiences with governmental agencies, everything in her screamed that this is not good. So she ran the second the Network shut down and stayed as quiet as she could until she knew she had Carnage under control.
And then? Well, then she met up with the resistance so she could fight back. Specifically, she's focussed on getting people out of imprisonment since she's not exactly sneaky. Like, at all. So anything other than smashing things and scaring the shit out of people with all those fucking teeth and... tentacle type things... are things she's not so good at. But she is good at the scaring people and getting other people out of bad situations. She actually may take a little too much enjoyment in the first thing, but what can you do?
She mostly hangs around the City, as dangerous as that may be. It's partially to keep an eye on Jess and partially because, well. She's not sure where else she would go.
She went to school, and began to excel in her studies once she mastered reading, writing, and sign language. Nill only uses her semi-telepathic ability with people she trusts, finding it preferable to simply write or sign with anyone else. She eventually graduated from a local community college in the City, and got an apartment by herself somewhere near the center

Vic is, for all intents and purposes, a ghost.
