I listened to the sermon twice before reading the reflection. I liked the analogy of bacteria jumping into penicillin in the sermon. very vivid imagery. I still do not think young Jesus ever had a sore throat or that he hurled or coughed or needed his nose wiped. I think His perfect physical body would not do that. Although, I think He experienced some of those symptoms during His extreme torture before and on the cross - coughing up stuff, sick and hurling after beatings, dry, dehydrated throat so I think He can identify with those physical issues, I just don't think He experienced them as a child. We don't really know and my misguided understanding is not worth arguing about and it won't keep anyone out of heaven. Relating to Jesus's wisdom as a child, I have met a few 10 and 12 year old people who were Spirit fed and led who had much wisdom. In my own life, I thank u for the reminder that I need to pray and fast not pray and feed when I have problems, unless that is feed on the Word, which happens more the older I get - pray and ( ... )
