death and things

My ferret Farley died last week. As far as we can gather he had a stroke and was gone within 24 hours. It was mercifully quick. We buried him next to my first pet, Fluffy the cat, on my grandparents property.. there was some talk of going to fredericton to bury him next to Tip. He was the happiest pet I've lived with. Always bouncy and cuddly and

I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to stay in fredericton for a bit.. but due to the switch around we were only there long enough for me to call nick and tell him to tell you "aaaah!" in regret for missing you.

Why didn't you call? I live like 10 seconds away and could have played some variety of "I'm sorry my cat used to think your ferret was a large toy but I really liked him" role... I'm sorry for her trying to eat him and I am so so so so he had to . I know you loved him like mad.

I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't really call anyone to tell them what happened and then we left town.. All in all I'm relieved it was quick and didn't drag on like Tip's illness. He was bouncy and happy right up until the day he died and thats what I think most people would want the same.

Apart from that things are good I think. Back to work but looking forward to summer. Jasons doing alright too.. You should drop by sometime. We had a nice visit with Keith when he came to drop the pan and pick up your mail.

Anyways nose to the grindstone.. lol. my job is so boring.
