*Hugs*. I wrote over in my own journal (publicly, for a change), about the power of apologizing/owning up to unintentional mistakes. I do not believe that makes anyone lose face; I believe it's the opposite, actually. Not sure who involved will read it since I'm pretty conservative regarding who I friend/allow to see me processing difficult, personal things, but it's there for anyone who wants to see it and comment (and tell me I'm wrong, if that's what they think).

I think what you have to say is important. Also complicated. :-)

I hope your choice to de-cloak leads to more positive discussion and helps tamp down that lack of listening I think we all decry. I've spoken a lot in my own LJ so I don't plan to comment further here unless there's a specific call. But I read this, twice.

Thank you. I hope it does too.

And thank for everything you have done over the last few days to facilitate listening and to create a safe space for dialogue to take place.

Can we talk in person? I would really like that. (Or the phone if it is too hard to schedule that. In person seems better, but I know scheduling is super hard.)

Lets have a conversation on the phone some time very soon then. (Not today though, as I am already late to a funeral.)
