I wrote this one in high school. It's not as good as Dylan Thomas, Emily Dickinson, or even Robert Frost. The different poets I quoted earlier, but I like it.

As I walk by the glistening sea,
I remember how our love used to be
You rushed in my heart like the ocean's tide
My love for you could never subside.

I will never forget when we kissed,
