I have lost control of everything!!! I just want to escape from all that I know. I was told something in confidence the other day and I made the mistake of telling someone else, indirectly. I mentioned that I had heard what I was told. I didn't say who told me or anything like that, but it was enough of a deal to him that he went right to the girl

Perhaps you should ask the boyfriend to tell the girl, because you feel she should know this info. Give him a choice-- you tell her, or I will, if it's important for the girl to know. If it will only hurt feelings, and break up friendships, perhaps it's not worth mentioning.
