Last Saturday, Rachel cut my hair to just below the ears. (Sorry, Andee: no pictures yet.) Since then, I've been met with much oh-my-godding and jaw-dropping. I guess this isn't surprising: it's been 8 or 9 years since I've worn it short, and most people haven't known me that long
