What kind of gift can you make?
Fic and/or fanart?
Preferred characters and/or pairings:

What kind of genres can you write/what kind of pictures can you draw?
Anything else I should know when I assign prompts to you?
What kind of gift do you want to receive?
Fic and/or fanart?
Preferred characters and/or pairings:
Characters and/or pairings you do NOT want to see/read about:
What genre of fic/art do you generally want? (Gen, slash, femslash, het, angst, fluff, romance, smut, character studies, AUs, future fics etc.)
Give at least four and up to six prompts you would like to see written/drawn:
Things you DO NOT WANT in your story/art:
Are you willing to pinch hit? (If you say yes, that only means that I may ask you for help if I need to. You can still say no then if you don't have the time or don't like the prompts.)
~~~~~~~~~
If you're okay with receiving both fic and art, please make sure to write prompts that work for both. Either phrase your prompts in a way so they can be used for both fic and art, or write separate prompts (i.e. 4-6 fic prompts AND 4-6 art prompts). That's far easier for artists than getting fic prompts and only an added "I like art, too."
If your sign-up includes spoilers (prompts like "what happened after character X did this or that in ADWD?"), please warn for them so other participants don't get spoiled accidentally while reading through the sign-ups.
Please remember that someone has to write/draw one of your prompts. Don't make their life unnecessarily difficult. Prompts should be starting points, not extremely detailed fic outlines. Try to have a bit of variety in your prompts rather than six prompts for the same pairing, especially if it's a rare pair. One or two crossover prompts are fine, but not six of them. Rare pairs are of course very welcome, but if you request only pairings that literally no other participant offered to write, I will have trouble assigning you. I reserve the right to ask you to add more offers or to edit your requests if there is no one who can write for you/no one you can write for by the end of the signup period.
If you don't want to post your email address here, just fill out the rest of the form and send me a PM with your address. Please sign up with an email address which you check regularly so I can reach you.
Send your finished fic/art to gotexchange[at]hotmail[dot]com by September 11th. If you need an extension or if you have to drop out, please contact me as soon as possible. Don't just disappear. I reply to every email I get on the exchange account. If I do not reply to your email after a day or two, please assume that I did not get your message and resend it.
Please only send me fics as text files (.txt), or if that's not possible as .doc, .docx or .odt. Please include html tags for italics etc. in your file and check if your formatting works properly. Either ask someone to beta read your fic for you or at least proofread your fic thoroughly. If you don't know anyone who could beta for you, you can contact one of the people who signed up on this
beta reader post.
Any other questions, comments, suggestions, problems? Send me a PM or an email to the exchange account. Please read the
FAQ first, though, maybe your question has already been answered there.
