You know, I thought to myself once that it would be so~ convenient if I knew what everyone around me was thinking. ... I think next time I'll be careful what I wish for. [Axel wasn't affected by the thought bubbles... directly. He saw some traumatizing stuff though, jehosephat.]

He gives Riku a level look.]
Well it seems to me that death isn't so permanent here--not that I'm planning on having a go at it myself or anything... I'd be surprised if he didn't show back up sometime soon, wondering why i hell his ingenious plan to take on the leader of the Organization didn't work out.
[Maybe next time he got it in his head, he'd seek a little assistance. And maybe Axel would provide some. But that wasn't the sort of thing one said aloud without knowing for certain the walls didn't have ears.]

Riku does listen though, nodding. He knows - others have said as much.]
Others will have to get it through his thick skull. The chances of him listening to me are still slim, even after- ['Sorry, Riku'] ...all this.
[There's a few more who agree with you, there. He just won't be saying that he's one of them.]

Anyway, even if death isn't permanent, I don't think it's something anybody with any sense would jump into more than once. Pain still hurts, you know? [He frowns a bit.] So even if he won't listen to you, or to anybody else, pain is a pretty universal language.

...Okay, and now he can't help but give a weak laugh.] Axel? This would be successful attempt number two. Something tells me he doesn't fear it.
