Well, I wouldn't say no to the orange juice and cookies they give you when you give blood but a little rest and I'll be right as rain.

Dietary requirements don't make you less of a person. Would it be better for everyone, especially you, if you didn't need blood? Probably. But I'm not going to treat you badly because you need it.

On the other hand I think I know why they tell you to sit down for a while after giving blood.
