Missed out on sign-ups but still want to be part of the first-ever GOT7 exchange? Here's your chance-sign up as a beta reader!
POTENTIAL READERS
✯ Beta readers assist writers in their fic-writing process. You may be asked to proofread, give advice, help with characterization, provide much-needed moral support before the final deadline, and more! The process is different for everyone, but we ask that you remain as polite and positive as possible. Criticism should be constructive.
✯ Maintain anonymity. Do not reveal your writer (or their work) before official reveals.
✯ To prevent accidental reveals, we would prefer that current participants do not sign up as beta readers.
✯ This is an informal beta search, which means that you will offer your services by commenting below, and you may be contacted by an interested writer at any time. You are responsible for staying in contact with your writer and working out the details with them. They will be relying on you, so please do not accept a beta request if you cannot handle the work!
✯ Even if you are not contacted by a writer, we thank you very much for volunteering your time and skills!
WRITERS
✯ While it's not required that you use a beta before final submissions, getting a second opinion on your work is almost always beneficial. The process is different for everyone, but we ask that you remain as polite and positive as possible. Remember, beta readers are volunteering a lot of their own personal time to help you improve as a writer, and you should respect that!
