What did you have in mind?

I just but this up there so I wouldn't forget about the 2 movies I saw yesterday. The only thing I added was a "New Release" marker so it's easier to do an End of Year list in December.

Um, I was thinking of giving extra bonus points if you watched a film from the 100 greatest films list from AFI. But only if you had never seen them before.
I was going to suggest a point system or something, but it's probably too difficult.

Let's just keep it the way it is so people won't be confused. We'll come up with something new for 2009.

mmmm, I don't dig it. I mean, it's a good motivator, but IDK. Anyway, I would probably winninate because I've seen 0 movies from their list.

How did you lose the challenge from last year? I thought the goal was to watch at least 100 new movies, and it looks like you did that.

My personal goal was to watch 100, but the winner of the challenge is the one who watched the most (Pla with ~200).

Even though I failed this challenge last year and I know this year will be be even more hectic, I think I'm still going to keep a record anyway :/

The Lives of Others was excellent. I'd be inclined to delve into more German films if it weren't for Wings of Desire. :yuck:
