Another round in the fall before Yuletide/Secret Santa stuff gets going in earnest would be great for me, a good way to pass the time waiting. XD

nano is in november, which might be something to consider. like, i know i was thinking about participating, but i know i wouldnt be able to do both gotex and nano at once, and idk which i'd choose.

Good point about NaNoWriMo, but I don't think there's any way we could avoid both NaNo and Yuletide if we still want another round this year, and I think there are more people doing Yuletide or other holiday fests than people doing NaNo (not to mention that December is also a busy RL time for many people). I'd try to get assignments out in October, so that would still give people a couple of weeks to write something before NaNo starts - maybe not long enough to write an epic, but enough time to write a shorter fic.

Otherwise, there'll definitely be another exchange in the new year, so if got-exchange + NaNo doesn't work out for you, there's always another round waiting. :)

That would be wonderful. I had an amazing time. Suffice to say I am now pulled hardcore into this fandom (Did I really write 30K in a month, Gdocs? I had no idea I had that much to say about Stannis) so I'm ready for anything whenever. Thank you so much for running it!

October-November is good for me. I wouldn't mind waiting until the new year if we can't fit in a round between other things (not because I'm participating in NaNo, etc., but because I'm a true lazy person). But if you do open sign ups for October, I'm game!
