[This is the second time he's made an entry like this, but this time he just sounds resigned, almost emotionless. Anyone who knows Axel will quickly note that this is not his normal tone at. all. [Stepping back and letting Riku inside, Axel closes the door behind him and moves to sit in the chair cattycornered from the sofa. Gesturing at the couch, he gives Riku a grin before smothering a fit of coughing into the crook of his arm. Ugh, being sick is so lame. After he recovers, he points to the couch again.]

I'll only let you on the couch if you promise not to chase our cat.

[He inhales to respond, then just starts hacking instead. The sound gets muffled, presumably into a sleeve, and then a moment later the SFC clatters a bit as it's picked up and he tries again. He clears his throat stiffly: that was totally part of the plan, yeah, act like nothing happened.]

Y-yeah, he's my best friend. Gonna miss him, the bastard.
