Back in her own body, even though she knew that Ronon had taken good care of it, Eden had felt the need for a really long, really hot shower. Her tan skin's flushed under a clean white vest and her hair's tugged back into the kind of snug ponytail she used to wear under her DDS cap

It ain't a week, not like Shari says it can be sometimes, but he knows she's back in her own body. He's not so nervous this time, not like he usually is around her, but that could be because his mind is elsewhere. On Joe, but mostly on Gene. He's worried about him, about what'll happen when Buck and Nix find out. Why he's not more worried about Joe, he doesn't know, but he ain't.

It's good that she's here, though, 'cause now he can hold out the cigarette he's smokin' on and offer it over instead of digging out one of the few remaining ones he has in his pack. "I ain't got cooties," he promises.

"Prove it," she says, taking the cigarette as she sits down on the step beside him, and takes a long drag. Her eyes close and she makes a soft, involuntary sound in the back of her throat. There are few things in her life that Eden has ever loved as much as smoking and she sinks back into it slowly and, for a moment, she forgets Babe's even there. Smoking in Brendan's body had been okay. Smoking in her own body was bloody wonderful.

"Jesus."

Seems to Babe he doesn't have to prove it since she's taking the loosey and pulling on it anyway. He watches her, takes in her expression as the smoke clouds, filling up the airy space around her, lingering there before the breeze draws it away.

"Ya really know how to smoke," he observes, glad to see his cigarette ain't goin' to waste.

"It's the only thing that I ever loved."

Eden takes another quick drag on the cigarette before offering it back to Babe.
"Well, sex and smoking. Halfway isn't bad."
