All of things that you hate have mods. :) I highly suggest you download Twallan's Master Controller here. Think of it as InSim for Sims 3. Very easy to use and self-explanatory. Awesomemod (which is what Pescado does) is a bit too complicated for my liking. If you want attraction options, you can also get Twallan's Woohooer, which will let you find your OTL based on different scoring mechanisms. :) All his mods are amazing!

I think you only need friends to advance in the Charisma skill.

Good to see you back! :)

Oh so glad to hear that! I'm going to download the Sims 3 into my computer as soon as Kid reprograms it. BTW, I sent you a message on FB, you do know that it's because of YOU that I started to even play this!! LOL. You're video of Sims 3 Pets had me almost drooling. I want horses.

Yeah, I hate the Charisma skill then. And she's 'charismatic', note to self; never use that again.

You wouldn't by any chance have a resource page for your Sims 3? I never paid attention to them all because I thought I wouldn't play and now I want too. I'm looking at the Sims 3 community you created for some things. Found some. :D

Thought I added your name to the post but I didn't. Fixed that now.

I don't really have a resource list, but I go to NRASS Industries, Mod the Sims (of course!) for all of my mods.

My Sims 3 Blog is the best place to go to find custom content.

I buy most of my furniture from the EA Store. :/

Thank you! I found the Sims 3 Blog and wow. I'm excited to start downloading again. Though MTS won't let me in, saying that I my account has been purged and if that's the case that really sucks.

So far there are things I would like to get from EA store too, though the launcher doesn't work for me and I can't get in. That's only on Kid's computer, hopefully I can figure out what's wrong with that.

Thanks again!

That sims3 pets commercial got me, too. If that ep really has/does things I want it to do (example: pets are controllable and you can have a family of just pets, or control a stray) then I can see myself getting sucked into sims3.

I'm eager to read some reviews from folks around LJ, like cindyanne (who's ga-ga for that EP, too).

See, it's all about the animals. LOL. I'm excited to see if they have that too. So far I feel that there is a lot to explore in the current games but, as always, they're not perfect.

Welcome back!! Good to see you back on here :D I never ever thought I'd like TS3, but now I am devoted to that game exclusively LOL I love it! It's so different from when it first came out. I used to think TS3 sims were hideous, but with the skintone replacements and CC make up, they look just as beautiful and diverse as TS2 did to me :D

Thank you! Thanks for hanging on to my journal too! I never thought I would like the TS3 either, as you've read of course. ;p
I'm still looking to download some CC & default replacements but they seem kind of complicated. Honestly, Sims 3 just intimidates me a little when it comes to CC.

they look just as beautiful and diverse as TS2 did to me :D
Oh I know! When I was looking for defaults I ran across a couple of pictures and I told Kid, I don't know whether these are Sims 2 or Sims 3!

My biggest problem with S3 is that all my sims look like Charlie Brown, has that been fixed? Round faces are nice but I like some angles now and again.

Oh and I am really wanting The Sims Medieval, which is a game all to it's self I think.

And yes, Medieval is a game on to it's self according to Kid who got the info from the guy from Best Buy. He did not get that for me, thankfully.

HAHAHA! Charlie Brown.

Well, they're still round but I know that they have stuff now to make the sliders go further, so it's a possibility.

Welcome back! Good to see you again :D TS3 needed those expansions. I mean, I liked the base game well enough but it's a lot better with a few expansions added onto it (and I can't wait for Pets! :D).

Also, iirc, you can suppress opportunities in the game options, which should stop most of those calls about needing to fix someone's TV or baking them cookies.

Also, for atleast some of the careers, promotions come easier if you use the pull-down menu and occasionally set your sim to "hang out with coworkers" or "suck up to boss". Making friends the lazy way XD

Thank you! Yeah, I've enjoyed the game a whole lot more with the EP's.

Awesome, thanks for the tip on the careers and the game options, geez those things are SO ANNOYING!
