[Dr. Jo Harvelle doesn't usually walk home after her late shifts, but after her long day - long weekend, really - she needed some fresh air and time to think. Secrets were revealed in the worst possible way, relationships torn apart at the seams, and on top of everything, Jo couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. Maybe it was crazy ( Read more... )

[In the hospital, Anna's been working all day, her mind in a bit of a fog. Partially from the attraction she felt for Castiel, partially from confusion about having Sam around again. She really didn't know what she was going to do.

So it wasn't intentional when she snaps at Jo... or rather, who she believes to be Jo.]

Dr. Harvelle, I have three patients in post-op that need attending to and the last I checked, that was part of your job.

I could be wrong.

["Dr." Harvelle was trying to find the office of the Chief of Medicine, not wanting to spend much time running around the hospital when she really had no idea who anyone was anymore, or enough about medicine to pass as her sister. Flo's eyes narrow a little at the interruption, but by the time she's facing the person who called her, there's a look of complete sincerity across her face.]

You're right, that is part of my job. But. I need to find Doctor... Oh, what's his name. You know, the big guy. Chief of medicine. I just need to bug him for a second before I go about any of my regular duties. Know where I can find him? [BIG SMILE. That was good, right? Totally not at all weird. She didn't have TIMEFORTHIS.]

Doctor Zachariah has better things to do than answer your questions. What do you need?

[Good, God, the residents were starting to feel entitled around here.]

[Castiel is now starting to have to juggle two women and the fact that he has an ego the size of Texas just means he's willing to actually attempt it for awhile. Not to mention he's not looking forward to having a talk with Jo. Which means he's even more of a douche than normal.

He finds her imposter after a routine appendectomy that didn't go all that well -- though he'll be blaming that on his student, so he's also pretty snappy.]

You're off this afternoon's surgery until you get a clear head and convince me you're stepping up to the plate.

[How rude. Flo has half a mind to tell this guy off, because as much as she hates her sister, how dare he talk down to her like that. She frowns though, trying to look guilty as possible. Which was difficult when all she felt was impatience and frustration at yet another interruption from what she really wanted to be doing.]

That's probably for the best. I'm just not at the top of my game today, I suppose. Lots on my mind. Totally stressed. You know how it is. [Man, didn't these guys have to wear name tags or something? This was getting hard, playing the part of her sister, when she hadn't had any kind of contact with her in years. Ohwell.]

[Her mistake is not even beginning to tell him off. Jo would have to be stared down to keep her mouth shut usually and now he's concerned. Mostly that she's found out about Anna.]

Dr. Harvelle. Are you trying to lose your position on my team?

[Some time after being told off by Castiel, let down by Anna, and ignored by Dean, Sam gave it to his old habits and called up one of his old contacts - Flo. They planned the attack together, and he subsequently told the evil twin to go after the Chief of Medicine while he tended to the battered blonde.

Say hello to Lucifer, Jo. He's walking up with a bucket and a chair, both of which he places opposite her. He takes a seat and reaches into the bucket for a soaked rag.]

I'm sorry about all this, but it was necessary. All part of the big plan, y'know?

[Jo's a little taken aback by the man pulling up a chair, seeing as she's not sure who he is, but he apparently seems to know her and knew she'd be down here. She sat up and pressed back as much as she could, but the stone wall behind her kept her from going too far. This was crazy!]

What plan? Who are you?

[He tilts his head a little at the question, the rag dripping water back into the bucket.]

She hit you that hard, huh? That girl, I swear. [A tut and shake of his head, before flinging the last of the water off the rag and starting to clean away the dried blood on her face.] Allow me to introduce myself then. My name is Lucifer, and I'll be your host for today.

Concussion, most likely. Dizziness indicates head trauma, but I don't-- Why am I talking like this? [Snerf. Medical jargon with a headache causes... more headacheness. She's too tired to try and pull away once he starts wiping her face off, although the dull pain in her jaw flared up a little, making her flinch.]

Lucifer? Seriously?
