I went to anime fest atlanta this past weekend. it was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, to say the least. lots of people in costume, but not all costumed were in "character." for example, I bumped into a rather large fellow posing as a bitter half-demon character called inuyasha. now, the dog-eared, sword-wielding fellow was very gracious, ( Read more... )

horrible though it may be, my friend sara and I were tempted to work at our friend josh's comic shop in huntsville for the sole purpose of intimidating nerds. they weren't even going to pay us, just give us store credit.

Wow, if you're feeling the need to work in a comic book shop for store credit then you really are turning into an anime dork. Which, by the way, just makes you that much more awesome.

Also, I think this is a wonderful idea. Intimidating nerds is always fun, and working at the comic shop for store credit is The Dream, which I myself have fulfilled only once.

unfortunately, I don't think we have time to do it. maybe once hamlet auditions and ACTS (theater competition for scholarships) are over. hmm, I could work at the haven over the holidays and give LOTR Risk to myself for christmas. that wouldn't be as awesome as, say, havin' a ronie, but it'd be pretty damn close.
