Abilities: Juudai is incredibly skilled in Duel Monsters, he is quick to think on his feet because of it, but only fights with his deck and a duel disk. When expressing this he has a happy-go-lucky attitude that's bursting with confidence, which makes his attacks far more powerful. Since merging their souls Juudai is able to use his friend Yubel’s power to his advantage, with it he sense darkness in people’s hearts and as a reverse effect can use his power to negate any sort of power that tries to penetrate his mind and free will. With it he can also sense the power levels of other duel spirits at a much greater accuracy as well. Juudai can use this power any time, though when he's feeling angry or particularly upset Yubel is always willing to jump to his aid making the power just that much more effective.
As Haou (The Supreme King) he can control the ‘Gentle Darkness’ as opposed to the ‘Light of Destruction’ in his series. With this he has strong dueling instinct and amazing leadership skills. It is also shown that he can control the shadows around him, can emit a strong wind, create beams of darkness, and a dark aura around himself. When around him there is a huge pressure, which can sometimes result in fear of this persona of his. Haou only appears when Juudai is at his lowest, consumed by sadness or uncertainty, making his mind easier to control with sweet lies and his will becoming over powered, possibly willingly if he feels he doesn't want to face what's hurting him.
Strengths: Juudai is a powerful duelist, always managing to pull a win with well thought out strategy and amazing amounts of luck. The kid has the stealth of a cat, having the habit of disappearing and reappearing at random, only being found when he wants to be. He’s also very agile and can leap pretty far, given the two platforms he’s leaping across are still close enough together. Lastly with the ability to see and talk to duel spirits he has a lot of allies backing him up, though no one else can see them or hear them like he can.
Weaknesses: When Juudai is possessed by Haou he is completely out of control of himself. Haou is his darker half, one can’t live without the other but that doesn’t mean Haou won’t have his way when he possesses Juudai’s mind and will. After all that occurred with Yubel and Haou Juudai started pushing people away more, leaving him vulnerable to whatever evils could be out there intending him harm despite his confidence in his abilities.

Personality: Juudai is a fun loving eccentric kid by nature, always friendly and sociable with a big smile on his face to top it off! He enjoys making new friends, especially if they share a love of dueling like him. Occasionally he’ll lack common sense about a few off things, a word he’s unfamiliar with or a motive someone has that he just flat out doesn’t understand. But he tries to correct himself during those times and laughs it off like it’s nothing. This also plays into the fact that he’s a slacker and sleeps in all of his classes, skipping out on all the important details.
Despite his good natured personality he has a more mature side as well, it took it’s time being drawn out, having had to experience several hardships to make itself known. He has his times when he prefers to be alone and in silence, usually taking some time to fish or enjoy a little peace and quiet in the sunlight. But if left for too long Juudai’s thoughts will run away from him and he winds up depressing himself, if only slightly; in which case he needs someone to bother him again.
When feeling unlike himself he’ll push everyone he knows and loves away from him, preferring to sit and speak with the spirits over actual people, he looks at the spirits as his family and takes whatever they tell him strongly to heart; especially when giving advice. Juudai isn’t the best listener but if he feels the subject or topic is important he’ll give it all of his attention. Juudai holds a lot of love in his heart for those he considers his close friends and his family, so much that he fused his soul with Yubel’s to make sure they stayed together always.
Juudai has a small side of him that cares only for himself, though it is rare he tends to have selfish moments where he will pull an ‘Every man for himself’ stunt and take off leaving everyone else in the dust. He later feels bad about it but something in his nature makes him keep doing it despite how badly it hurts him later. It was what got him mixed up with his darker half in the first place, not that he’d let it get that bad again. But even though he’s matured, he’s still a kid, and all kids have selfish tendencies.
Strengths: Juudai is a kind soul that, ever since he was little, strives to be a hero. He finds enjoyment in helping others and is pleased when those he helps are safe and happy. He has as powerful determination and never gives up, even during the toughest of odds; he’ll fight it out to the end because to him that’s what a true hero does! He’s very athletic and is pretty well toned, he’ll run and jump and swim and whatever else, be it for enjoyment or a daring rescue!
Juudai has a strong compassionate side for his friends and those he cares about as well and is willing to listen and give advice to those who need to talk out their problems and a few words to help them go forward. If they need a place to stay, Juudai will have a spot free. If someone is in need of something in a life or death situation, Juudai will be there to risk it all. Just so long as the people he cares about and wants to save come out safe and happy Juudai feels he’s done his job.

His guilt complex leads him to self punishment and solitude, disappearing for several days on end and reappearing only when he feels that its okay and his presence won’t hurt anyone.

Juudai is too much of a drifter to hold down a proper job for a long time, the money he gets from odd jobs can only last him so long.

Hey there! So those moogle guys, heh, moogle, fun word, told me that my home might be, um,...gone. I don't know how much of that is true.
[He looks away from the screen, as if trying to avert his eyes from someone giving him a disapproving stare.]
I mean, I just wound up here with only that as my explanation, it seems a little bit hard to believe, not to mention a lot to take in.
Are what they're saying is true? Is my world gone...? Is...everyone...?
[He hesitates on the last sentence and shakes his head.]

RP Sample: Juudai's thoughts were running away from him, everything going on around him was happening way to fast. After being told his world was destroyed he could feel nothing but devastation. Was it true? The thought scared and saddened him, that meant everyone was gone right? Shou, Kenzan, Manjoume...Johan.
The last thought made him jerk his head up and try to shake out of it. He stood and brushed off his pants and shirt of the sand that he had accumulated while he was sitting there staring at the water like an idiot! Juudai stood straight to put back on his confidence despite the sadness and worry he was feeling. Juudai knew he couldn't sit and feel sorry for himself like this, that's not what a hero does! Hero's were brave, courageous, and strong, he needed to get his head back in the game, he refused to be useless!
"If I'm here then that means someone else I know has to have wound up here too!" Trying to pep-talk himself back into certainty was harder then it looked. He couldn't really understand it, not completely. If his world was gone why was he still here? Did anyone else survive despite what he had just told himself? Juudai frowned letting his mind go blank to try and block out anymore worry or sadness, kicking at the sand.
Juudai knew well enough that magic existed, but mostly in other dimensions. That had to be it, maybe this was another dimension. A thought he quickly abandoned the moment it popped into his head. He wound up here without really knowing how and it disturbed, worried, and excited him all at once. Juudai loved to explore so until he could find others from his world, maybe he could try and enjoy himself.
"And maybe Yubel will be able to create a body for herself." He stated sarcastically to the thoughts in his head. This situation was turning out to be hopeless.
