The Lord Commander of the Kingsguard decides to punish Ser Loras for his constant impudence. Extra points for inexperienced-top!Jaime and bossy-bottom!Loras.

MINOR SPOILERS FOR ASOS. this came out really kind of different than I intended it to, so apologies for that in advanced!

When he finally shrugs off what little he has left of his honor and shoves the Knight of the Flowers against the wall of the Red Keep, Jaime thinks he's probably the more surprised of the two. He can feel Loras smirking against his mouth, grinding up against his knee. The brazen impudence is possibly what turns Jaime on the most.

He pulls away, can't decide whether or not to glare or smile at the boy, so he just leans in to kiss him again. His tongue is slick and fast, sliding its way into Jaime's mouth with what must be an oft-practiced motion. Loras moans something against his lips that sounds like, but Jaime really hopes isn't, "Renly."

Jaime dislikes that - dislikes it the same way he does Loras's every sideways look at Brienne, every hitched eyebrow and cross of his arms, every time he says or does something that Jaime can hear echoing through his own lips from summers past. He thinks of calling him '

EEEEEE!!!! THIS IS MARVELOUS!!!! It's exactly what I hoped. Like, PRECISELY.

There's such a pathos to this scenario; in spite of their shared arrogance and love of snark, both Jaime and Loras are so fragile deep down, both mourning a loss.

his haughty face is flushed and wanting, and really, he is a beautiful boy, a sad boy, and Jaime can see the pain in takes it bite back the 'R-'

OH this line just killed me. Because Loras will be haunted by Renly forever, just as Jaime will be haunted by Cersei, not as she is, but as he remembers her being once.

And then the parting shot is just great; even in a vulnerable situation like this, Jaime's gonna troll. Can't stop won't stop.

I wanted to make it much more lighthearted than it actually came out, but they're just so complicated and damaged, that I couldn't help exploring that. Loras/Renly and Jaime/Cersei are both pairings that break my heart, in very different ways, but still!

Hot! XD And I like Jaime not knowing what to do for a change. Interesting note about Tommen also... Jaime's relationship with his kids has always intrigued me.

And yes, I always wondered how the little Lannisters would have turned out if Jaime had actually tried to be close to them - I think that's something he regrets, especially considering how Joff ended up. D:
