Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

Thank you. :) I think Stannis himself must be very confused by the mixture of feelings he has for Jon, fatherly, friendly, romantic, and a healthy dose of "I want to tap that". ;)

WHAT IS THIS CUTE? I had to back down an audible "awwwwwwwwwwwww" while reaching the end ^^. You know, it is so strange to imagine Jon in white now. But that combo would so work well.

I got so used to imagining Jon in white by now, I'm almost confused by NW!Jon. ^^ Glad you liked. This pairing is ridiculously adorable.

THIS:
A muscle in his jaw twitched, indicating the hint of a smile - it looked almost exactly like a frown, the only difference being that he didn't narrow his eyes. Reading Stannis' expressions was like following a trail on dry ground - difficult, but feasible if you knew what you were looking for. This smile was an invitation to go on.
SO RIGHT ON.

And Jon would definitely worry about whether he still had Stannis' respect because this is Jon and brooding is what he does.

Stannis offering to behead Jon himself is just how he'd show his regard for him. Oh Stannis.

Basically: this is wonderful & you are amazing. ♥ I wish I didn't have to go to class now so I could write more fic in this 'verse.

Brooding is their favourite pastime. In the evening, when they're done working, they sit down and brood together, both of them quiet and gloomy and occasionally they look at each other and sigh. Or smile.

Stannis SUCKS at paying people compliments.

YOU MUST WRITE MORE FIC IN THIS VERSE. I think I should throw some prompts out there and try to guilt you into writing them. ;) Nah, I'm just happy you liked my fill.

Oh god, that is so true. They are perfect companions because they can just brood together and not need to ask one another questions.

I actually really enjoy the Stannis style of giving compliments. I'd adopt it if people didn't already think I was massively cold & uncaring.

I WILL, I PROMISE. I sort of tried to make the previous fragment into part of a longer, fuller fic with other scenes but got distracted and haven't got back to it yet. I have every intention of writing more Stannis/Jon.

It's one of the many reasons why I like Kingsguard!Jon, he can just stand there and brood, and Stannis can brood, and they're less alone without anyone getting on their nerves.

It's awesome. I'd love it if people gave me compliments like that, it just sounds more honest than the usual way. ;)

I also threw another Stannis/Jon prompt on the meme here if you need even more ideas, bwahahah! Either way I can't wait to see more Stannis/Jon from you. Maybe you can even get them to do more than just stare at each other longingly.

I have never read this pairing before, but you just made me want to read another story with them. The Jon/Stannis interaction had that same underlined affection that I thought they had in the books.

Thanks, I'm glad I managed to convey this very subtle affection that's already starting in the books. ^^ If you want more of them ... there's barely any fic, I think outboxed and I are the only people to write them. http://archiveofourown.org/series/11761 and http://archiveofourown.org/works/269670 I don't think there's more, unfortunately. But maybe you want to start writing them as well. ;)

Okay, I officially ship Stannis/Jon. xD I LOVE seeing Jon as part of Stannis's Kingsguard- best idea ever, I believe. Especially because it means Stannis has the throne, heh. Anyway, I loved reading this- I grinned like a fool through the whole thing. Stannis's fleeting smile, Jon's brooding.... D'awwww!!
