Wow, I love this! Great story. I was really feeling for Damon. Poor guy. But then, finally, he got Rick back. Not only as a friend, but as a lover as well. Love it that there's no discussion about being gay on Alaric's part. And since Damon was mourning for months, it's believable, that he doesn't want Elena anymore. Love the story.
