Oh dear, I do hope they can pin a name on it for you soon. I HATE being the interesting person in a doc's eyes, but thankfully mine have been all been mostly temp maladies.

Gah. My best real-life friend has chronic migraines which also she was shuttled from specialist to specialist without them being able to say anything coherent about it. They still don't know, but at least she is on drugs that work for it. And the sister of a friend of mine resisted medication for depression for two years before they figured out that what was actually going on was schizophrenia and the drugs for that would work (she isn't 100%, but she can function quite well.) So I have seen problems similar to yours, and no, they aren't fun.

So I wish you, if not resolution to your problem, at least better living through pharmaceuticals for it.
