Part Two Of Day Two

((OOC: LJ-cut for the memories make it long as hell.))

Pacing. Back and forth.
The memories were right there. But how to get them out? How to twist them to his advantage?
He couldn't kill the boy and just tell Fredrich the memories he wished him to have, the ghost might not believe him.
But he was so...trusting.
No, he had to give him visible memories, proof.
He leaned down, his face inches from Caen's. He scoffed and pressed a claw to his temple. Caen glared back at him, unable to pull himself from the dark bonds, unable to fight back, unable to save Fredrich.
He felt so helpless.
"I suggest you give me some of Fredrich's memories now, or I will be forced to take your light and become stronger, boy."
"You'd do that anyway."
Faux smirked.
"You'll have the light longer if you give me some of Fredrich's memories. If not, I could kill you here and now and just make up some memories for the poor child." His eyes slanted as his smirk widened. "And you know how disasterous that will be." Caen glared for a moment longer before sighing.
Him making up memories for Fredrich certainly was a terrible thing to do to him. And if he died now, he wouldn't have any chance to help Fredrich get Faux out of here.
Caen closed his eyes as he began to transfer parts of Fredrich's strongest memories.

Lydia smiled as she placed a hand to his face, but couldn't stop the tears from falling down her cheeks.
"You're so brave, Fredrich."

His father glared as he saw the small toy in his hands.
"You're not supposed to have that, you insolent child."
"B-but, father-!"
"You stole it, didn't you?" The man snatched the doll from his hands, Fredrich started to protest, but forced his cries down, as well as his tears.
"No, I didn't, father, I didn't."
"You know how I feel about theives, you little shit!"
Fredrich barely held back his tears as the doll was ripped to shreds in front of his eyes.

"Fredrich! Fredrich! I'm sorry!"
"No, you're not. If you were you would've stopped him. You would've spoken up..." He leaned down so his face was barely inches from her own. "But you never did, mother, and no amount of apologies can cover up the fact that you never even wanted me in the first place."
And then he silenced her, once and for all, as her body fell to lay beside the bleeding body of his father, their faces forever etched in expressions of fear and regret.

No. The girl had ruined everything. The girl had brought the ghost child back to her side.
The girl had fallen, and the girl had caused the boy to drop his staff.
She ruined it, and her and the boys had gotten him in jail.
They ruined everything.
He swore he would get revenge on all of them.

His revenge had been foiled.
The boy had put him back, had ruined it all.
Again.

Freakshow chuckled half-heartedly. "Personally, no one's ever lusted after me, so that'd be better than anything I've had." He felt a strange warmth in his shoulders, a warmth he didn't want to go away. "I understand if anything of this sort is too soon for you. Just..just promise me one thing..."
Dan took a deep breath and released it.
"If I can keep it. Sure." he answered
"Just..just please don't treat me any differently, if you can. And..keep coming by here...I...enjoy your company." He said, putting it simply, not wanting to ask for something Dan couldn't offer him.
"Oh, now *that* I can promise." Dan said, suddenly much more cheerful. "That will be easy, Emo-Boy."

Dan thrust back to meet Freakshow. He wrapped his arms around Freakshow and buried his head in Freakshow's neck.
"I love you," Dan whipered ever so softly.
Freakshow felt his heart stop for a second and then speed up rapidly. "Dan.."

Clockwork looked up from where he was poking a frightening creation known as Tickle Me Elmo.
"Huh? Oh, no I'm good," he replied and followed the ringmaster to the counter. After the plushie was paid for they made their way out of the store and headed towards the food court, for Clockwork desired curly fries and root beer.
As they sat down at one of the tables to eat, Clockwork reached into his pocket and withdrew a small, unbelievably cute zombie goth clown plushie by the makers of Dy.
Holding it out he said, "I picked something up for you I thought you would like."
Freakshow looked wide-eyed as he saw the little plushie. He resisted the urge to squee loudly. A blush crept up on his cheeks. "B-but why?"
Clockwork just smiled as he pushed the doll into Freakshow's hands. "I saw how your eyes bugged when we went into that store, not to mention you only brought clothes with you when you moved in. I thought you might need something to make your room a little more personal. Think of it as a late birthday present."
Freakshow smiled a little as he stared down at the plushie, feeling a strange warmth inside

Dan stoped grinning and stared at Freakshow blankly.
Dan closed his eyes and swallowed thickly.
"I'm sorry." he whispered.
He felt himself go silent, his eyes widening slightly.
"Y-you just....." He then closed his eyes and sighed and opened them again, a glare back on his face. "What did you apologise for?"
Dan lowered his head on Freakshow's stomach. "I hurt you. And now you're starving yourself." Dan burrowed his face in Freakshow's jacket.

"What? Can't I just be happy being around the guy I love?" he teased, smile widening as, once again, there was no pain.
"Okay, well I suppose you ca-" He stopped. Dan had just said..no. He said he always felt pain whenever he said that. That he couldn't say that. "Did you just say..?" His eyes looked shocked, yet excited.
Dan gave his best 'Cat who drank the cream, ate the canary, and chased the bear up a tree' grin.
"Did I just say what?" Dan asked back.
"Did you..basically just say that.. you love me?" He asked, still slightly shocked.
"Awww, you didn't chatch it the fisrt time?" Dan hissed wiggling his tongue at Freakshow.
He still and became semi-calmed. Ruined by his huge grin and wiggling in his chair with sheeer sheer joy.
"I love you, Freakshow." he said standing up and stalking towards the human. "And I won't *ever* let you go."
Freakshow reached up, gently caressing Dan's head in his hands, drawing him closer. "Please..say it again."
"I love you so *much*." Dan whispered revently as his arms encircled Freakshow's waist.

Freakshow gasped and arched his head back, allowing more access to his neck. "Please..Clockwork." He grasped at the ghost's clothes, trying to pull them from his form, but getting too lost in the nibbles and caresses. "I've needed you for so long." He moaned, arching up, trying to feel his body even closer to his own.
"I know," he muttered in reply. Still pulling, still gripping him as tightly to his chest as he could. "I've wanted you forever. Since I first caught a whiff of your presence in Time. Since I knew we'd be doing this."

"Yes," Clockwork replied softly, wrapping his arms around trembling shoulders, "and no. In a little while you will become one the lesser things he is concerned about, and he will leave you alone for the most part. But there's still the possibility that yes, he will gain more control over you."
He continued to sob, not able to control it at all. "I'm scared." Was all he could think to say.
"I know," he said softly. "But for right now you need to calm down. I'll help you to bed."
He let the man guide him as he found he truly was sleepy. But he didn't want to go to sleep. NO.
"I..I can't..He'll..he'll be there." He sounded truly fearful, through his sleepy tone.
"Yes, he will be," Clockwork replied with a sigh, unsure of what else he could say. He ushered the fading man into his bed room and helped him to lay down and remove his shoes. "I'm sorry."
He let some more sobs rise from his throat as he lay in the bed, feeling sleep overwhelm him. "Help me.." he muttered, before his eyes closed and there was silence.

Pain. Complete and utter pain.
Vision blurring. Body weakening. Tears falling.
Fire. White fire.
Dan.
"I love you..."
Then, it all went dark.

{I wish the darkness would go away.} He sobbed a little. {And Dan didn't notice it was me...} He gulped some, feeling more sobs come on.
The lights flickered slightly and came back on, electricity humming through the walls again and he knew Freakshow had heaved a long sigh of relief. {Finish gaining your strength so you can tell him in person,} he replied softly.
Freakshow felt calmer once the light was back. But wasn't sure he could go back to one of the rooms and feel comfortable enough to sleep.
{C-Can I stay here?}
{Of course,} Clockwork replied, still lounging in the chair. After a few minutes he knew that Freakshow had fallen asleep and he gave a long, drawn out sigh.
Calm. Complete and utter calm.
He felt as long as Clockwork was there, he'd be okay.
And he knew once Dan noticed he was there, he'd feel the same way in his presence as well.

Flying. Holding Dan close.
He was FLYING. Oh God, he was FLYING.
And he had Dan back.
Nothing could ruin this moment.

"I mostly did small things," Clockwork said, hand moving to grip at the back of his neck in nervous habit, loosening and tightening slowly. "I kept you from falling down a well once, and would distract your father from his anger when I could afford to."
"You..you..." He felt something... Admiration? Love? He wasn't sure, but it was making him feel warm and slightly lightheaded.
"You saved my life..."
Eyes darted back and forth, for some unaccountable reason he was feeling incredibly self conscious, and his hand gripped even tighter at the base of his skull. "I also influenced Lydia to find you that day in the field."
"Clockwork..you..you.." He couldn't help but let a tear run down his cheek as he closed the inches between them without even thinking.
Closing his eyes he let Freakshow press against his lips, releasing a breath that he hadn't realized he'd been holding. Then, inhaling the slightly smokey smell from his skin, the Master of Time smiled and put his hand on the other man's cheek to wipe the tear away.

"Say it again?" he asked, sleepily.
Panting heavily and keenly aware that Dan was listening to everything they were saying, he pressed a kiss to Freakshow's nose and repeated himself. "I love you."

Dan turned around and stared confused. "I don't get it. I know I need you two but you two don't need me."
"Dan..I need you." He said, his eyes slightly watery as he looked into Dan's own eyes.
He blinked rapidly trying to clear his eyes. "I think I might need to hear that alot." he said voice teembling as he reached for Freakshow.
He quickly embraced Dan, letting some sobs come.
"It would be...too dark without you."
Dan: Dan made reassuring noises and rubbed Freahskow's back.
"I'm still here. Just please tell me I'm needed once and a while? Please?"
He seemed to talk almost in a daze, as if he was taking the facts from elsewhere.
"Dark cannot exist without light, and light and dark can't coexist without time."

As Dan left, Clockwork allowed his frown to break and smile to show through. Turning to Freakshow, he let a whisper travel down their mental connection, {We'll always protect our Dan, right?}
Freakshow blinked for a second, and then smiled back.
{Always.}

"Ready?" Johnny asked. "This might hurt...or is that what you're hoping for?"
He looked up at him, eyes half-lidded in lust.
"Break me."
"That I can do."

His fingers just touched at the light as it poured through his eyelids and into the darkness.
He suddenly remembered.
The man. The man was Faux.
And he wanted to take everything away.

Caen opened his eyes, not allowing for any more memories. He had already given too much, he was sure.
Faux got up, smirking widely as he then heard a soft cry from across the mindscape.
"Thank you, boy. I now have a little problem to attend to." He looked down at him with a sadistic humor in his eyes. "Now, don't you go anywhere."
"You're a bastard." Caen spat as he glared up at the monster.
"I know, child." He chuckled. "And this bastard will soon gain all control of this mindscape." He then laughed as he turned and began to walk to where he had left Fredrich.
So many meories to twist. So much I can do. So trusting you will be.
You are mine, Fredrich. This body is mine. This mind is mine.
Your silence is mine.
Caen waited until the monster was out of sight before letting a sob run through his form.
