Harleen's Return

Rosie and Harleen appear in Jonathan's office. Rosie leans against the desk, more pale now than she had been. "Nothing's gone terribly wrong, I don't think. The students have been having fun trying things out with the patients, and fortunately Mister Dent and Miss Kyle have been very patient about it."

"Well, at least everything is running smoothly. I guess it could have been worse if any of the patients who escaped in the panic had returned during all of this."

She looks down for a second, and when she raises her head she manages to feign only mild interest. This was just passing conversation. Sure it was.

"None of the lost patients did return, did they?"

"I'm afraid not. He's...he's not a good man, Harleen. No matter what he says to you."

Harleen sighs and runs her fingers through her hair, looking for the right words to stop this conversation now.

"I know...I know that. All the same, everyone deserves a chance to get better, don't they? He's not going to get better out there."

She shakes her head.

"Well, we have other things to worry about right now. What should I get to first?"

"Harleen..." she stopped; she was too tired to try and explain these things at the moment.

"Maybe you should check in on the patients? I've put all the notes on what they've been up to in the fronts of their files."
