LMAO!

Yeah, this young lady needed to be put in her place: you only have First Amendment rights when your congress-scumbag says you do.

"This is MY Townhall Meeting .... for YOU." Um, ... *shakes head, dumbfounded*

Good grief, this guy didn't even use any weasel-words to try to flim-flam her. He just put her in "her place." Hopefully, the voters will put him in his place soon.

That said, I have little patience for journalism "student projects" gumming up such meetings with their own needs and for the "Journalist" entitlement mentality this girl exudes.

Yes it was funny how he tried to backtrack a bit the second time: "... for YOU".

I don't know if you're familiar with Bakunin, but this episode reminded me of one of his quotes ...

"The instinctive aims of those who govern -- of those who frame the laws of a country as well as of those who exercise the executive power -- are, because of their exceptional position, diametrically opposed to the instinctive popular aspirations. Whatever their democratic sentiments and intentions may be, viewing society from the high position in which they find themselves, they cannot consider society in any other way but that in which a schoolmaster views his pupils. And there can be no equality between schoolmaster and pupils."
- Mikhail Bakunin, 1870

Many elected officials seem to feel that they're "entitled" to their office ... this guy certainly gives off that attitude.

Hey, I missed you at GZ saturday. You left before I could talk to you. I had a whole bunch of new pencils to give you.

I love how these town hall meetings are making so many in government look so horrid. Maybe it is causing people to wake up and realize that even if they agree with their congresscrook on this issue or that issue, they are morons who should not wield the reigns of power.

Indeed. When government gets egg on its face, it's never a bad thing.

Even I'm surprised how fast Obama's poll numbers have fallen. He clearly overplayed his hand. Well, with people still remembering how terrible the Republicans were, and now with people getting upset with Obama & the Democrats, maybe this next election cycle they'll elect ... ?
