I'm actually really glad to see this. While I disagree with his view, I am glad he retained the right to keep it. No one on either side should have their words shut down. Thank you for the followup.
I see freedom of speech as one of the fundamental pillars in a free and democratic society and while I do not share Mr. Buell's views it would be a terrible crime for me to deny him the right to voice those views. Now, if he had fronted those views in the classroom in his capacity as a teacher, that would have been a completely different case, but as a private person he should be able to present his opinions freely.
