Dragoncon and cosplay
It's November! Time to start thinking about.... Dragoncon!! Hahahaha. We're going back obviously, and we've already started hashing out ideas for costumes and also room reservations. Concerning the latter, apparently the host hotels are already sold out? A lot of people are of the opinion that this is due to football fans stealing room rate blocks, as this is ~months~ before they've been sold out every other year. We've got one Hilton hotel room and are on the list to hopefully get another, just in case we need it. I'm really hoping we do since I know of at least 7 people who are confirmed to go; so let me know early on who else out there definitely/probably needs a place to stay!
Cosplay-wise, I'm 99% sure we'll be doing a steampunk zombie hunter group, among other possibilities like steampunk 9, Venture Brothers, and Young Avengers. We had a ballistic mad design session today over brunch, with the results below. I love costume designing so much. XP
